Ved Mehta Prize
The Ved Mehta Prize in Creative Nonfiction is an international award recognising the best book of creative nonfiction published in English.
The award has been established in partnership between the Centre for the Creative and the Critical at Ashoka University, India, and Balliol College, University of Oxford, United Kingdom.
The Prize honours works that explore new forms of writing and expand the reach of innovative work in creative nonfiction.
The inaugural award will be given in 2026 for a book published in 2025.
